The Campground at Martha’s Vineyard

When you talk about Martha’s Vineyard and Oak Bluffs, you cannot leave out Martha’s Vineyard Camp Meeting Association (MVCMA), which is a National Historic Landmark. It is home to over 300 beautiful gingerbread cottages and the historical Campground Tabernacle. Many of these cottages have been in families for generations, and some are available for rental.

Every cottage is beautifully landscaped and well kept.

As you walk through the Campground, you walk upon the Campground Tabernacle, which is a large covered outdoor space on Martha’s Vineyard. It’s a space for religious and social activities on the Island and is a national historic landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

I had so much fun walking during the evening with my family to look at the adorable cottages. My girls loved the flowers and beautiful architecture of the gingerbread cottages. If you are ever in Oak Bluffs, you have to visit the Campground!
