I love a great boutique, and if you haven’t visited Filthy Gorgeous on Main, my question to you is, “What are you waiting for?” I went with a group of women for a private event, and we had a blast! This boutique has beautiful, chic, fun clothing for every occasion. The owner, Melinda Sanders, has you covered, whether it’s a big presentation at work, high noon tea, date night, or brunch downtown. She has a huge collection of beautiful pieces to choose from. If you haven’t been to Main Street in Madison, you’re missing out. The store fronts look as if they are from a storybook. Many of these business are family owned. Filthy Gorgeous on Main is one of my favorite stores, and I drop in whenever I am in the area. The owner and the young ladies who work in this boutique are so helpful and kind.

The owner, Melinda Sanders, is a beautiful soul both inside and out. She makes everyone who walks into the boutique feel like family.

If you are looking for an outfit, she will help you pull something together.

I purchased my first piece of clothing from her about three or four years ago. It was the dress from my post, Tea Around Town. I absolutely love that dress and still wear it. I wore it to a party where guests were asked to wear Mardi Gras colors, so I chose green. I also have a shaggy jacket, the turtleneck I’m wearing in this photo, jeans, and several other pieces from this store. And yes, I am petite, but I can fit a lot of the clothing.

She has various styles of denim throughout the store. I guarantee you’ll find a flattering fit.

The owner also supports other local businesses. She carries Beehive Bathhouse’s lotion, body spray, and candles. Beehive Bathhouse is a company from Hartselle, Alabama. Darla Barbee, the founder, started this business with $50 from a friend back in 2004. She prides herself on responsibly sourced, clean ingredients.

This candle smells delicious. I think this is going to be my next purchase.
